Courses in Trondheim

Founded by Vikings as a trading post in 997 AD, Trondheim is one of Norway’s oldest cities, and one of its largest. It was Norway's capital from 1030 until 1217.

The Trondheim region consists of nine municipalities in and around Trondheim. This region is striving to assert itself as an international leader in research, education, business and culture. There are many activities to choose from, please take a look at www.visittrondheim.no to get some ideas. 

Thanks to its history and rich culture, Trondheim is well known for its festivals, restaurants as well as an excellent musical and arts scene.

New 2 Norway's Explore Language Package (ELP) in Trondheim is an intensive language course where you dive into Norwegian Language and Culture.

You will have 20 (30) lessons over 5 days. We also offer BILDUNGSURLAUB = 30 lessons per week. Each lesson last 45 minutes, by no means this is to say that you will be in front of the whiteboard memorizing words all day long. Not at all!

Our lessons are a practical usage and combine many activities, which may include outdoor activities, special events, socializing with your classmates and locals, exploring the city, conversation classes and of course (because it is very important), study time.

What you can expect is not traditional class but a truly immersive experience.

Schedule for this week might look like this:

• Day 1; Introduction, get to know Nidaros and our neighbourhood,
• Day 2; Valuebased lessons and Practical usage of Norwegian,
• Day 3; Outdoor Activity and Practical usage of Norwegian,
• Day 4; Valuebased lessons and Practical usage of Norwegian,
• Day 5; Valuebased lessons and Summing up

Our courses in Trondheim start on Wednesday  and run for 5 days  until Tuesday, giving you a break of 2 days in between (Saturday & Sunday). Since we run a pilot project for Healthcare personell from January to June these are the dates and levels:

• January, 15th = A1.1,
• January, 22nd = A1.2,
• February, 12th = understanding the foundation and values of Norwegian society with a special focus on the Nordic model,
• February, 19th = A2.1,
• February, 26th = A2.2,
• March, 26th = understanding the foundation and values of Norwegian society with a special focus on the Nordic model,
• April, 2nd = B1.1,
• April, 9 = B1.2
• April, 30th = understanding the foundation and values of Norwegian society with a special focus on the Nordic model,
• May, 7th = B2.1,
• May, 14th = B2.2,
• June, 18th = understanding the foundation and values of Norwegian society with a special focus on the Nordic model.
• June, 30th - July, 4th = B2.2 = understanding the foundation and values of Norwegian society with a special focus on the Nordic model.
